How to Busk Like A Badass

Oh boy, what is there to say about this trip other than we turned a quiet peaceful countryside into another circus. You see us hit and old coal mining town, romp around in the woods and baffle a bunch of folks on a tourist train to nowhere.

Took a bit of long hike an ended up checking out one of the slowest moving and powerful forces out there

I was antsy after missing our planned trip to Waterton Park due to forest fires, so I decided to take a stroll through downtown Banff and ran into this lovely lady playing her harp. After jamming on I Will Survive and Blunderbuss I folded up my guitar and moved on. You can check out more of her stuff here - http://harpangel.com/

Fitting in tight spaces with a guitar is a real pain sometimes. Especially if you have a toddler in tow. Good thing we had the backpack

Wow this was a dangerous shot to get. The water roaring in my ears was intense and the slippery rocks left me in a precarious position. Not sure if I could have gotten there to play without a Voyage-Air Guitar. So many tourists were crowding Jenny to get shots of me doing this over the Kicking Horse River that I'm surprised she got these at all! Nice Job!

IT was a long day of travel across Canada and we ended up at the luxurious Fairmont Hotel at Lake Louise.

This trip started out pretty rocky once I got into Canada and realized that all my picks, strings, tuner and GoPro equipment was missing from guitar case. After spending some time curled up in a ball and hating life, I snapped out of it and realized that adversity spawns adventure. Jenny, my faithful camera person and wife snapped some shots off with her camera and I used my trusty metro pass as pick (even if WMATA is not so trusty).

We decided to head down to Gravely Point to get an up close look at those big birds swooping in over the Potomac.

We stopped in the city where the heart of rock and roll beats to show the locals how we can rock out with out... well nevermind that will have to wait until Johnny is older I guess

We set up camp in a cabin here for a few days while taking tours around the plains.
